Invited along to play in a Texas Scramble, thanks guys. The course was in very good condition with fast greens and a good selection of holes, didn't feel as though I've played another hole like this today. Could do with the daisy's being cut on the fairway to make ball spotting easier. All in all a good track and would recommend you get along and play before everyone is playing it. Spoke with several members who all had great things to say about the pro, Ross Aiken who is doing his best to get the course the reputation it deserves.

Went for pre-booked afternoon tea with family. Stunning drive through the castle grounds. Plenty of parking. The Glasshouse was too hot for me and we sat outside. The food was clearly all freshly made however, the quiches were a bit big to sit on the tiered cake stand and not very dainty ( struggle to eat the rest after that). I feel it would have been more memorable if vintage style china could have been used rather than plain white crockery and cake stand. I'd definitely visit again and with a couple of small tweaks the afternoon tea could wow!
